SoldLocal knowledge.
Coastal perspective.
Boutique real estate representation for buyers and sellers who value deep neighborhood knowledge, personal attention and decades of experience across Atlantic Beach and the Nassau South Shore.
Nearly four decades in the market she calls home.
With 39 years in real estate and an office at 99 The Plaza, Annett C. Ellis brings the kind of Atlantic Beach knowledge that cannot be learned from a market report alone. She understands the streets, the beach clubs, the waterfront, the housing stock and the subtle differences that shape value from one block to the next.
Her approach is deliberately personal. Buyers and sellers work directly with an experienced local broker who knows the Nassau County market, stays involved throughout the transaction and treats every move as more than a set of numbers. Whether the goal is a beach home, a waterfront property, a luxury residence or a well-timed sale, Annett’s focus is clear advice, local judgment and attentive representation from the first conversation through closing.
A seaside village with a story of its own.
Atlantic Beach’s modern story took shape in the 1920s, when developers envisioned a true seaside community on the western end of the Long Beach barrier island. Atlantic Beach Associates purchased the property in 1923, and the years that followed brought streets, utilities, new homes, beach clubs and an oceanfront boardwalk.
The first Atlantic Beach Bridge opened in 1927, making the growing resort community more accessible from the rest of Nassau County. The boardwalk opened in 1929, and Atlantic Beach soon became a popular summer destination. After years of community effort centered in part on preserving local control and the beachfront character of the area, Atlantic Beach was incorporated as a village in 1962. Today it remains a distinctive oceanfront enclave — close to New York City, but unmistakably its own place.
